Online and Mobile Reservation Terms and Conditions
For the purposes of this reservation:
Definition of Terms:
- Equipment provided for receiving assistive listening, personal captioning, audio description and foreign language translation (audio and text) shall be referred to as the “Assistive Device” or “Devices.”
- Assistive and accessibility systems: I-Caption® (personal captioning), D-ScriptiveTM (audio description), Audien®Translator (audio and text translations) and GalaPro Mobile App (captions, audio description and text translations) shall collectively be referred to as the “Service”
- Sound Associates, Inc., the provider of assistive devices and its employees shall be referred to as “Sound Associates.”
- The person requesting to use the device and/or the person making the reservation shall be referred to as the “Patron”.
Conditions:
Quantity: A “Patron” is limited to reserving a total of four (4) devices per performance.
Return of equipment: The “Patron” agrees to the safe return of all devices to the original point of distribution in the venue or theater. If a “Patron” does not return the device at the end of the performance the “Patron” will bear the shipping cost for its return to “Sound Associates.” A “Patron” who does not return the device within 7 days will be subject to the replacement cost of the “Device.”
Damage or Lost equipment: The “Patron” is responsible for the care of the “Devices” when in their possession. If the “Device” is damaged, lost, or stolen while in the care of “Patron” the “Patron” may be subject to the replacement cost of the “Device”.
Reservation Conditions: Reservations must be completed 24 hours prior to the performance. This reservation may be cancelled at the discretion of “Sound Associates” for any reason including due to lack of advance notice. Latecomers may forfeit their reservation, normally reservations are kept up to the final call for seating.
Limitation of Liability: “Sound Associates” is not responsible for ticket refunds, including direct or indirect costs, due to an unforeseen malfunction of a “Service”, “Device”, or failure due to user error.
Availability of services: Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre and receive a device. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a patron who is at least 18 years old to reserve a “Device”.
